“Digital Technology Now” is a workbook series specifically designed for the Australian Curriculum: Digital Technologies course. Each workbook is organised into a series of units and worksheets that students can complete in conjunction with their classroom activities and projects.
“Digital Technology Now” provides a wealth of ideas and ways in which technologies can be explored within the existing curriculum. As activities are completed, student progress is recorded in the achievement section at the back of the workbook. A certificate can be signed by the teacher and awarded to the student in recognition of their completion of the workbook.

With Australian-themed characters guiding the way and learning alongside students, “Digital Technology Now” is a fun and engaging journey on the path to the amazing world of technology!
As students are introduced to the many uses of Digital Technologies, they can complete the activities within their "Digital Technology Now" workbooks. Students will learn about devices, the nature of data and how all data is composed of binary. They also learn about logic and coding, being safe online, and how Digital Technologies are used in their school and the wider community.
Each worksheet is intended to encapsulate a concept in a way that is both engaging and easy to deliver. In addition to this, each activity is fully supported (via the member's login on this site), with ideas on how to integrate the topic into the existing curriculum as well as extension tasks.
As students finish each unit, they can complete extension activities to further enhance their learning. Extension activities include ideas for additional projects, discussion points for the class or ones they can talk about at home, as well as small research questions. While many extension activities are included in the workbooks, there are many more included in the member's area of this site to support teachers and schools.
At the back of each workbook is an achievement grid, where students can record their progress through the Digital Technologies curriculum. Class teachers may wish to give students stickers to place on these pages, and reward special effort!
At the end of Year 6, this achievements section can be used to award and recognise students - and the included certificate can be signed and presented to the student.
